Hover Enterprises Terms, Conditions & Guarantees.

1. Orders
1.1 We will supply and install/construct the works, that are described in our quotes in accordance within these terms and conditions. Which cannot be changed unless both parties agree. In which case, this must be in writing. Any additional terms, conditions or verbal agreements should also be written down for the sake of clarity and also be signed by both parties.
​
1.2 If in the unlikely event that the works will take longer to complete than initially estimated due to unforeseen circumstances, we will give the customer as much notice as possible with a detailed explanation and revised completion date and price if applicable.
​
1.3 We shall endeavour to carry out our obligations to the customer under this agreement to the highest standards possible, efficiently and resourcefully. We will hold the price of all quotes for a maximum of two months, after which time the quote is subject to change.
​
2. Deposit
​
2.1 On agreed jobs of over £1,000. The customer will have to pay a deposit of no less than 25% before
commencement of works. In the case of cheque payments, the funds must clear before commencement.
​
2.2 The Deposit will be shown in Section 3 part C on your Quotation & Contract.
​
3. Fees and Payment
​
3.1 The final price of any agreement shown on any written quote will be payable as follows:
​
3.1.1 The final price shown on any quote is subject to change in the case of unforeseen circumstances. However, we will give the customer as much notice as possible with a detailed explanation and revised completion date and price if applicable.
​
3.1.2 The balance becomes payable immediately after the works have been completed, then a receipt will be issued by us.
​
3.1.3 The balance must be paid in full within 1 month or the client may face extra charges and legal
proceedings.
​
3.1.4 Additional and unforeseen charges, extra materials or resources will be applied to the final invoice i.e. Painting materials, waste disposal charges, vehicle parking or extra labour. However, we will give the customer as much notice as possible with a detailed explanation and revised completion date and price if
applicable.
4. Services
4.1 We provide to following Household services.
4.1.1 Plastering
4.1.2 Painting
4.1.3 General Maintenance
4.1.4 Furniture Assembly
4.1.5 Horticulture
4.1.6 Sanitation
4.2 We reserve the right to refuse work, if we feel it is outside of our range of expertise or experience.

5. Customer's Obligations
​
5.1 The customer will ensure access to the site is easily available for us, to enable us to carry out the works by ourselves at times agreed between both parties.
​
5.2 Before the commencement of the works. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all electrical items, furniture, radiators, curtains, curtain poles, equipment, pictures, ornaments and other sundries have been removed from the agreed works site prior to the works start date. Hover Enterprises is not responsible for any damage, to any item left in the room, including carpets. All care we been taken to avoid damage. If furniture is left in the room and we are unable to complete the job on the day our quote is still payable or further
charges will be added.

5.3 The customer will ensure all electricity supplies are isolated and safe when we arrive.
​
5.4 The customer will prevent access to the work site by animals, children and other unauthorised people or any other hazard not under our control.
​
5.5 The customer must provide or secure parking for our vehicle(s).
​
5.6 The customer must provide the necessary paint, unless agreed by both parties.
​
6. Cancellations
​
6.1 All cancelations are subject to The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013
​
6.1.1 Under the above regulations the consumer has a right to cancel a contact during a period of 14 calendar days from the day the Cancellation Notice is sent or given to you. During that period if you choose to cancel the contract any money paid by the consumer will be refunded.
​
6.1.2 However, if you have already given written approval for the work to begin before the end of the cancellation period you may be required to pay for goods or services already provided.
​
6.1.3 If you wish to cancel the contract you must do so in writing and deliver personally or send (which may be by electronic mail or post) this to Mr Paul Hover. You may use our Cancellation Form if you want to, but you do not have to.
​
6.1.4 The notice of cancellation is deemed to be served as soon as it is posted or in the case of an electronic communication from the day it is sent.
​
6.2 Work commencing prior to the expiry of the Cancellation Period
​
6.2.1 The consumer can agree that the work may commence, before the consumers cancellation period has expired.
​
6.2.2 However, if the consumer decides to cancel within fourteen working days, they may be asked to pay for any work that has been done prior to their cancelation.
​
6.2.3 Complete, detach and return this Start Work Form only if you wish to cancel the contract.
​
7. Liability, Indemnity and Insurance
​
7.1. Hover Enterprises is currently doesn't hold public liability insurance cover for any services 4.1.1, 4.1.2,
4.1.3, 4.1.4, 4.1.5, 4.1.6.
​
8. Guarantees
​
8.1 We promise to repair or replace any defects in the case of the proposed works that are a direct result of poor workmanship for a period of 6 months after the date of completion of the works.
​
8.2 Any defects found within the works must be reported in writing or by phone within 5 working days of completion, we will contact you to confirm their arrival upon receipt. Within reasonable time, an investigation will commence.
​
8.3 Once the cause of any defects has been established and agreed upon by both parties, we shall rectify the situation. However, this warranty does not extend to any defect arising from fair wear and tear, breakages, accidental damage where we are not the direct cause or improper fixing of anything to any
installation or construction.
​
8.4 This guarantee does not extend to faulty and/or defective products, not purchased by the business, in this instance the manufacturer must be contacted by the customer. For example ikea furniture with a production fault or products bought by the customer like paint.
​
8.5 This guarantee does not extend to faulty second hand goods or products,
bought or sold, in this instance the original buyer or seller must contacted by the
customer. For example an item bought on Gum Tree or eBay with a defect
or fault.
​
8.6 This guarantee does not extend to any furniture that has been deconstructed in the past and is being reassembled by the business.
​
8.7 We will not be liable for any cracks that appear as long as we use scrim tape / eml (expanding metal lathe) on all visible cracks before commencement of the agreed works, this occurrence is unavoidable if there is any structural movement present.
​
8.8 This guarantee is not insurance backed.
​
9. Data Protection
​
9.1 Personal data shall be obtained only for one or more specified and lawful purposes, and shall not be further processed in any manner incompatible with that purpose or those purposes.
​
9.2 Personal data shall be adequate, relevant and not excessive in relation to the purpose or purposes for which they are processed.
​
9.3 Personal data processed for any purpose or purposes shall not be kept for longer than is necessary for that purpose or those purposes.
​
10. Trade Waste
​
10.1 Due to new government legislation on trade waste it is the customer’s responsibility to dispose of any unused materials at the end of completed works.
​
10.2 Otherwise there will be a charge for the removal of waste to a government approved site.
